| Reverse Mortgage Scams |

| The NCUA recently issued an alert regarding more fraud aimed at seniors. Fraudsters continue to lure seniors into taking out reverse mortgages in a lump sum by claiming they can take the money and purchase investments at an unusually high return. The fraudsters then take the cash and run. Be cautious about handing over your hard earned cash or equity. |

| If you use Facebook or other social media you might consider just how much information you want to share, and be careful who you accept as a friend, scammers are using social media more frequently than ever, many using "romance angles" to prey on innocent victims. Be alert and remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. |
